Here’s What Different About Amazon’s Mumbai Diaries 26/11

The deadly terrorist attacks on Mumbai on 26/11 will always be considered as the black day and the wounds of the attacks can never be healed. Several websites, films are based on the attacks of 26/11 or some films have the reference of the same. Every film or web series has tried to display what happened precisely on that night, how police administration was working, what people were going through, how National Security Guards (NSG) carried out the rescue operations, etc.

However, Director Nikkhil Advani has made an attempt to bring out a different perspective from the attacks of 26/11. In the newly launched series on Amazon Prime titled, “Mumbai Diaries 26/11” the director has portrayed the work of heroes in white uniform working in the hospital who saved several lives that night and also the ones who had to face the conundrum of what’s right, wrong and beyond.

It is a series to watch and unfold the story of unsung heroes of 26/11 who did their duty to save the city of dreams Mumbai. The lead actors have gone into the skin of the character which made it livelier. As Director, Advani has well explored the concept and brought up a polished series for the audience.

It also stars Natasha Bharadwaj, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Tina Desai, Satyajeet Dubey, Prakash Belawadi, among others. The series is a tribute to the doctors and medical staff who in the last two years are working beyond their limits to save the nation from the novel pandemic.
