While landing in Kabul, The aircraft, AI 243, faced trouble and had to circle over the Afghanistan capital for some time as countries were rushing against time to vacate their citizens as the Taliban fighters took over the control of Afghanistan. On Sunday Air India operated a commercial flight that evacuated 129 passengers. As per the information given by the Air India sources a similar flight will leave for Kabul on Monday morning to carry on the process of evacuation of the Indian nationals stuck in the Afghan capital which at present is tackling several problems. Last Tuesday, an Air India aircraft flew out citizens from Mazar-e-Sharif as the city was taken over by Taliban fighters.
Hence one cannot deny that Air India is always there to help the nation in such hostile situations in different countries. Air India has several times carried out evacuations to save Indian nationals in various countries.
